A waterfall in mid-stream Ikuta River on the mountainside of Shin-Kobe Station; one of the sources of Kobe Water.
It has been named one of Japan’s 100 best waterfalls.
Nunobiki Falls is the collective name for four separate waterfalls – Ontaki, Mentaki, Meotodaki, and Tsutsumigadaki. Of the four, 43 m high Ontaki is particularly well known.
A stroll along the nature trail is especially recommended in the spring season of new green growth and the autumn season of stunning red and golden leaves.
