Besides some 700 cherry trees, several other varieties have been planted here. The park is a pleasant place to enjoy a packed lunch as you relax amidst the natural surroundings.
In spring, the cherry trees bloom, attracting large crowds of visitors to view the blossoms.
The park has a promenade and a children’s playground and, by crossing the road bridge, you can visit Kusadani Shrine, which was erected for worshipping the god of scholarship.
